Schools of Choice Plan


This year, due to increased enrollment in grades K-12, Mona Shores will only have openings in Kindergarten (15).  There are no openings for Grades 1-12.

Application Process:
Schools of Choice applications may be obtained beginning Monday, April 14, 2014, at Ross Park Elementary in the Community Services Office, 121 Randall Road. Applications must be fully completed and returned in person by 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014. If necessary, a public lottery drawing will be held on June 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Ross Park Media Center to determine new enrollees.  Once selected, students who fail to enroll by the first day of school, and those who do not attend all year, must reapply for admission. Students currently under expulsion, and those with a history of expulsion, suspension and/or truancy are not eligible to apply for enrollment.

Duration of Enrollment:
Schools of Choice students enrolling in Mona Shores Public Schools are eligible to remain in the district until graduation.

Transportation is not included in the 2014-2015 Mona Shores Schools of Choice Plan.

Applications may be picked up beginning Monday, April 14, 2014 and must be returned in person by 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014.
