You're invited to Mona shores high school color guard.  Color guard has been dubbed the sport of the arts by many. It involves dancing and spinning flags and equipment with the marching band. We perform several shows throughout the season accompanying the marching band. Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday May 21st from 5-8pm in the Middle School LOCATION and our second meeting will be the following Wednesday May 28th at the same time and place. If interested please come to the meeting with the following things: athletic clothing that you can move in, tennis shoes, a water bottle, and a positive ready to learn attitude. Stop by the band room and talk to Mr. Nimtz or Mr. Boyden.  Hope to see you all there!

8th grade softball practice is canceled for today.  Reminder that game on Monday is at Reeths Puffer!

Dear Sailor Parents,

Welcome to our web page at Mona Shores Middle School. Our focus at MSMS is striving to be the highest performing middle school in the county, state, and nation in regards to positive behavior and academic achievement. We will accomplish this by setting high academic expectations for all students and providing supportive systems to ensure they are met. As we continue to shape our school climate and culture, set high standards for teacher performance, increase behavior and academic expectations for all students, and engage in the teaching and learning process, I am confident that we’re moving from very good to great!

We appreciate your support as we partner together to educate your child to be high school, college, and career ready. I am proud of the staff that we have in place at MSMS. With your help, we will do great things with your child. Please use our web page as a tool to help with communication.

If you have ideas on how we might improve our web page, please feel free to contact me. If you have questions, or if I can be of any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me at or 759-8506.

Thanks for supporting MSMS!
